Getting Started

Set up in four steps

1

Install the app

2

Receive your invitation

You will receive a secure invitation link by email when a verifier requests a credential from you. Open the link and follow the prompts to set up your account.

3

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions

What is Yaatra?
Yaatra is a secure credential wallet for global mobility. It lets employers and universities issue verified credentials, such as employment letters and degree confirmations, directly to you. You control which credentials are shared and with whom, such as an immigration attorney or a compliance team handling your case.
How do I sign in?
Open the Yaatra app and enter the secure PIN you created during setup. Your PIN unlocks the credentials stored securely on your device. If you have not yet set up an account, you will need an invitation link sent to your email by a verifier or issuer.
I forgot my PIN. What do I do?
For your security, your PIN is known only to you and is used to protect your credentials. If you have forgotten your PIN, please contact us at info@yaatra.app and our team will guide you through securely re-verifying your identity and regaining access.
How is my data protected?
Your credentials are stored in encrypted form, and access is protected by your personal PIN. Credentials are cryptographically signed by the issuing organisation so they cannot be altered without detection. You always control which credentials are shared and when. For more detail, see our Privacy Policy.
Who can see my credentials?
Only you, unless you choose to share. A credential is shared with a verifier only after you review it and give your consent. You can decline any sharing request.
How do I share a credential?
When a verifier requests a credential, you will receive a notification. Open the request in the app, review the details, and approve or decline the share. If you approve, the verified credential is securely delivered to the verifier.
The app is not working as expected. What should I do?
First, make sure you are running the latest version of the app and that your device software is up to date. If the problem continues, please email info@yaatra.app with a description of what happened and, if possible, the make and model of your device. Our team will help you resolve it.
How do I delete my account or my data?
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by emailing info@yaatra.app. We will process your request in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
Does Yaatra work on iPad?
Yes. Yaatra is designed to work on both iPhone and iPad. If you experience any display or functionality issue on your device, please contact us at info@yaatra.app and we will address it promptly.
